ECO CARBON PROJECTS LTD was founded in Great Britain in 2022 with a clear vision: to actively combat climate change and create a sustainable ecological future. Represented in Uzbekistan by Eco Carbon Services, which was established in 2021, our dedicated local team has partnered with Hududgaztaminot since 2023 to advance important environmental initiatives.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND GOALS
ECO CARBON PROJECTS LTD, alongside its Uzbek representatives Eco Carbon Services and Climate Compass, has successfully identified and repaired over 52,000 gas leaks across Uzbekistan’s gas distribution system. These initiatives have prevented approximately 8 million tons of CO₂-equivalent emissions annually, demonstrating our profound impact on environmental conservation.
Our approach integrates the highest-quality European materials and rigorous standards, recognized globally by the respected "AA" rating from BeZero Carbon. Furthermore, our methane reduction project has earned validation from VERRA, enabling the issuance of Verified Carbon Units (VCUs)—internationally recognized carbon credits—for our significant environmental achievements in Uzbekistan.

Feruzbek Utkurov, the CEO of ECO CARBON PROJECTS LTD, has dedicated his career to environmental sustainability through extensive financial expertise in ecological projects. Graduating in Management Accounting from the University of Southampton (2016-2019), Feruzbek's deep commitment to solving environmental challenges shaped his professional path. At KDB Bank Uzbekistan, he was directly involved in financing ecological projects, providing him first-hand insights into the critical environmental issues facing Uzbekistan. His tenure at Iona Capital Ltd (UK), a firm specializing in low-carbon projects, equipped him with valuable knowledge about the profitability and viability of various ecological initiatives.
Currently, as a Lloyd's of London broker at Challenge Group Insurance, Feruzbek manages the insurance portfolios of ecological projects, gaining comprehensive professional expertise in mitigating the numerous risks associated with environmental ventures. His extensive background in financing, evaluating, and insuring ecological projects naturally led him to establish ECO CARBON PROJECTS LTD, driven by a clear purpose—to actively contribute to solving critical ecological problems.
